Adelaide Fabrication Services' strategic location

Workshop & Materials Handling
Adelaide Fabrication Services is strategically located near Port Adelaide's intermodal freight centre with convenient heavy vehicle access from the Port Adelaide Expressway as well as the Gillman-Dry Creek dual gauge rail link

Adelaide Fabrication Services has a 20 000 square metre site on Moorhouse Road, Port Adelaide, which provides generous space to handle and store very large structures and items of plant

The main workshop has an unencumbered area of 600 square metres

There is a separate stainless steel workshop

Materials handling is provided by on-site equipment including:

  • 5 and 8 tonne mobile cranes
  • 2 tonne gantry crane
  • 3, 4 and 12 tonne forklifts

Adelaide Fabrication Services has the following metal shaping equipment on-site:

  • Angle and flat bar rollers
  • Plate rollers with a capacity of up to 16 mm thickness
  • Pan brake folder
  • Cropper

We have numerous specialised welding machines including GMAW, GTAW, MMAW, SAW, and Plasma
